Reduce production down time and increase revenue
The ACA integrated equipment reliability model includes many actions to help increase revenue including:
- Equipment that can cause a loss of production is clearly identified, and “treated with respect” while planning, scheduling and performing work.
- Preventive maintenance and other actions are defined to prevent this equipment from failing.
- Operational assessments which ensure the risk associated with an equipment failure is known before taking equipment out of service.
- Design changes when cost justified to eliminate single failure points.
